The WBF Women’s Spring Festival is taking place on BBO, and all women players are welcome. This is an individual event, where you play with a robot partner. The competitions take place between 13 and 19 April, with 12 games daily throughout the day on BBO, and you can play as often as you wish. The main prize is free entry for the winner and a partner of her choice to the Women’s Pairs Championships at the WBF World Bridge Series 2026 in Katowice, Poland. WBF Online Masterpoints, WBF certificates, and BB$ prizes will also be awarded.
And a reminder that the IBU’s Seniors’ Congress will take place in the Cavan Crystal Hotel from Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23 April. The event starts with Gala Pairs on Tuesday night at 19:30. The Senior Pairs Championship, for the Pat McDevitt trophy, is on Wednesday, with a 13:00 start, and the Senior Teams Championships on Thursday starting at 11:00. There will also be Open Pairs on Wednesday at 13:00 and 18:00, and on Thursday at 11:00 and 14:30. The Gala and the Open Pairs have no age restrictions, and pre-entry is not required, but to play in either of the Championship events players must have been born in 1961 or earlier, and pre-entry is required via the CBAI website.
