We are sad to report the death of Tom Burke of Drogheda. Tom was a long-term member of the Gate Bridge Club, serving as its President for 1974/75. He also served on the North Eastern Region committee, as President of the Region in 1988/89, and as National President of the Association in 1992/93. Tom was an excellent bridge player and administrator, and won many competitions during his bridge career, many in conjunction with his long-time partner, Frank Murphy. May he rest in peace.
