Entries are invited from teams hoping to represent Ireland in the Teltscher Trophy (Senior Camrose) 2020. Entry is restricted to players with more than 100 National Points, with no exceptions. To be eligible to play in the Senior Camrose, players must attain the age of 62 before or during the calendar year 2020, i.e. have been born in or before 1958.

The trials will be held over the weekend of December 13-15 2019 in the Templeogue Centre.

The trials will be on a team basis and teams of 4 or 6 players will be accepted. The team that finishes first in the trials will be selected to represent Ireland in the Teltscher Trophy (Senior Camrose) to be held in CityNorth Hotel, Gormanston, from 15-17 May 2020.

The closing date for receipt of entries to the trials weekend is 22 November 2019 and entries, accompanied by the entrance fee of €300 per team, must be submitted to CBAI National Headquarters on or before that date. The International Committee reserves the right in exceptional circumstances to accept entries after the closing date, but no assumptions should be made in this regard.

While the exact format of the trials will be decided after the closing date when the number of teams entered in the trials is known, it will involve a single or double round robin, with each team playing a direct match over as many boards as possible against each of the other teams.
