Many of you will know Geoff Roberts as a bridge player based in Cork. He is also Emeritus Professor of History in UCC, and an recognised authority on Soviet and Russian military and foreign policy. Geoff has recently published an article in Responsible Statecraft analysing the war in Ukraine, and the tactics being pursued by Vladimir Putin, from the perspective of bridge, and it’s a very interesting read. You’ll find it here.
