The Regent Bridge Club is offering two open events over the new year period. The Wigoder Teams is an open competition, and takes place over two sessions on New Year’s Day, starting at 13:00. Pre-entry is required using this form. And the Cairnduff Trophy is an Intermediate Pairs competition, again over two sessions, which will be held on Monday 3 January at 11:00; you will need to pre-enter here for it. Both events are on BBO.
And we are delighted to congratulate a member of the South Munster Regional Committee, Maura Foley, whose book My Wild Atlantic Kitchen: Recipes and Recollections was recently awarded the prize for the Best Book By A Female Chef at the prestigious Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Paris. Well done to Maura on a great achievement.
