Another busy weekend of bridge. Many congratulations to Team RUDZINSKI (Marcin Rudzinski, Michelle Moloney, Karel De Raeymaeker, Anna Onishuk, Claudiu Dima, Sandra Newell) who emerged victorious from the second weekend of the IBU MIxed Trials, and will represent Ireland at the European Mixed Teams Championships in Herning, Denmark, in the summer, and at the World Bridge Games in Argentina in the autumn. This is a first cap for Michelle Moloney, who only took up bridge approximately twelve years ago, and has made huge strides in a short time, and a first Irish cap for Claudiu Dima, who has previously represented Romania at international level. We wish them the best of luck for the two tournaments. Commiserations to the second-place team WALSH (Terry Walsh, Bríd Kemple, Peter Stewart, Aoife MacHale).
