We need your help! You should in the past few days have received an email survey (assuming we have an up-to-date email address for you) seeking your views on the balance you would like to see between live bridge and online bridge in the future, and to gauge your likely support for live CBAI competitions and congresses in the 2022/23 season and thereafter. There is clearly still quite a bit of uncertainty around as a result of the pandemic. Many of our clubs have re-opened for live bridge, and lots of their members have returned to the table. But others have not as yet. Our objective is to encourage as many people as possible back to live bridge, but we are conscious that there is some continuing demand for online games. So we want your views on what you would like to see happen, please.

The survey is very short and straightforward (it should take no more than five to ten minutes to complete) and your responses will be anonymous (we do ask your location, in case there are major differences in the views of urban versus rural players, for example, and your age and grade, for the same reason). There is also space for you to add your own thoughts if you wish, and all opinions will be gratefully received. While, as with most things, it will be impossible to keep everyone completely satisfied, the more we know about what our members want, the more likely it is that we can deliver on your expectations.

We cannot provide a link to the survey here, because we wish to confine responses strictly to CBAI members, and this is an open website. But if you didn’t receive the email, and would like the link sent to you, or if you would prefer to submit your responses on paper, just give us a call on (01) 4929666 and we’ll send you what you need. And please ask any of your friends who are CBAI members to complete the survey too, if you wouldn’t mind. It will close for responses at midnight on Sunday, August 14. Thanks in advance for your help.
