This week sees the CBAI Simultaneous Pairs competitions; thanks to all the clubs who are taking part and thereby supporting what is in the current climate an even more vital than usual fundraiser to help finance our four Irish teams (Open, Women, Seniors, and Mixed) to go to the European Championships which we still hope may take place in Madeira next June – a final decision on that is pending.
You’ll find the results on the ECATS website – if your own results are not on the site yet, it is because the relevant club has not yet uploaded them.
Our thanks also to all our expert commentators whose analysis is a vital element in the popularity of the our simultaneous pairs events. The analyses will be included below after the games take place:

In keeping with the practice for all our competitions being played online this season, these events will be for entertainment purposes only, and while Masterpoints will be awarded, monetary prizes will not. We will publish a full national ranking here as soon as we can after the week is concluded.
