The final congress of the season was held over the weekend in Killarney. Once again numbers were up on the previous year, completing a very successful congress season. Thanks to the congress committee and TD Diarmuid Reddan for an excellent weekend to close off the season. The prizewinners were:

That concludes the CBAI’s season, apart from the AGM, which will take place in the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow, on Saturday 27 June, at 2 p.m., with a game of bridge in aid of two local charities (Dawn Walk Kildare, which provides crisis counselling to people with suicidal ideas, and Cuisle Cancer Support Centre Portlaoise which provides support to cancer patients) to follow for anyone interested.
