The weekend of 8-10 July sees the traditional season opener event, the Ballina Congress, unfortunately online on BBO again rather than in person this season. As with most recent congresses, the organisers have opted for evening events only. The proceeds of the congress will go to charity, so please support as many of these competitions as you can. The schedule is:
Friday 8th July – Mixed Pairs 7.30 p.m. – 10.20 p.m.Friday 8th July – Intermediate B Pairs 7.30 p.m. – 10.20 p.m.
Friday 8th July – Novice Pairs 7.30 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
Friday 8th July – Gala Open Pairs 7.30 p.m. – 10.00 p.m.
Friday 8th July – Fast Friday Open Pairs 8.30 p.m. – 10.20 p.m.
Saturday 9th July – Congress Pairs (one session, 30 boards), 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 9th July – Area Master Pairs (one session) 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 9th July – Intermediate A Pairs (one session) 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 9th July – Intermediate B Pairs (one session) 7.30 p.m.
Saturday 9h July – Novice Pairs 7.30pm – 10.00 p.m.
Saturday 9th July – Open Pairs at 7.30 p.m.
Sunday 10th July – Congress Teams (one session, 30 boards) at 7 p.m.
Sunday 10th July – Intermediate Teams (one session, 24 boards) at 7 p.m.
