Irish Bridge Union
The Irish Bridge Union is a confederation of the Contract Bridge Association Of Ireland and the Northern Irish Bridge Union. All members of the constituent bodies are automatically members of the IBU. The IBU organises participation in European and World Championships on behalf of all Ireland.

Within Ireland, in addition to Trials for International Events, the IBU organises the following competitions:

- Inter Provincial & Intermediate Inter Provincial Championships,
- IBU Inter County Teams Championships - Burke Trophy,
- All Ireland Pairs Championship - Moylan Cup,
- IBU Inter Club Championship Pairs
- and the All Ireland Teams Championship - Egan Trophy.
- Competitions are also organised at Schools level - Pairs, Teams & Inter Provincials.
