Notes On Entry To National Competitions
1. Players who compete in the following competitions: Coen Trophy (Mixed Teams), Jackson Cup (Ladies Pairs), Revington Cup (Mens Pairs), McMenamin Bowl (Ladies Teams), Geraldine Trophy (Mens Teams), and Holmes Wilson Cup must be of Master or Intermediate A Grade.
2. The Spiro Cup is a mixed pairs competition, open to Intermediate A Grade and above.
3. The Master Pairs Trophy competition is restricted to all
Master Grade players.
4. The Lambert Cup and Cooper Cup are open to the Area Master and Intermediate "A" Grades. Regional Masters and grades above are excluded.
5. All Major C.B.A.I. Competitions consisting of 3 Sessions commence on Saturday at 1.30pm and on Sunday at 11.00am.
6. Closing date for entries for all Major C.B.A.I. Competitions is Wednesday preceding the date fixed for Competition.
7. Cup Holders from previous seasons competitions must forward trophies to National Headquarters at least two weeks before this seasons competition.
C.B.A.I. INTERMEDIATE COMPETITIONS
REGIONAL ALLOCATION TO NATIONAL FINALS
Teams Events - Bankers Trophy and Tierney Trophy
Two teams to each Region.
The remainder to be allocated on the basis of the original entry to bring the total number in the Final to 28 Teams.
Pairs Events - Laird Trophy & Civil Service Cup
Two pairs to each Region. The remainder to be allocated on the basis of the entry in the previous year to bring the total number in the Final to 40 Pairs.
